VANCOUVER, BC – February 10, 2019 – Sky Alphabet Social Media (“Sky Alphabet”), a leading Canadian supplier of social media and digital marketing solutions for Canadian public companies and private brands, is pleased to announce that its campaign “programmatic audio” was selected as the winner in the “social media storytelling” category at the American Marketing Association’s 2018 BCAMA Marketing Excellence Awards.
The award was presented at a gala in Vancouver, BC, hosted by the American Marketing Association’s BC Chapter (“BCAMA”) on February 8, 2019. Steve Yanor, Managing Director of Sky Alphabet, accepted the award.
Sky Alphabet planned and executed the campaign for Western Media Group, one of Canada’s most trusted brands of independent media solutions. The three month digital marketing campaign was executed using organic social media.
The campaign was designed to introduce programmatic audio to Canadian media buyers and advertisers.

The multi-network social campaign was highly successful in accomplishing the objective of telling the story of programmatic audio. Through more than eight hundred social media posts, Sky Alphabet deployed a massive array of content across Twitter while actively pursuing an audience development strategy to raise awareness of the campaign during its execution.
Campaign content also appeared on LinkedIn, Facebook, Medium, and Google Plus.
